We are told in these verses to run without distractions; to run with determination; and to run with complete devotion. My fellow Christian our best example is the Lord Himself, who endured extreme obstacles, but never gave up! It is our turn now; the baton has been handed to us! What will we do with it?

There should be built into every believer the desire to come together and worship. We made it to chapter 8 in a sermon series entitled The Best Way, based on the book of Hebrews. Here we will discover that our Lord is both Priest and King, who ministers in the Heavenly Temple. His perfect offering secured for every believer a much greater promise that is pledged in His own blood. Much better than the covenant etched on stone; this new promise is written on our hearts. I sure hope your name is written in the Book of Life, and that you are a part of this amazing new promise!

Jesus is a powerful pu know Him as both Priest and King.riest, a permanent priest, and a perfect High Priest; who's ministry far exceeds what the earthly priests could do. I hope you know Him as both Priest and King.
